There has been a 52% increase in the number of confirmed cases of #COVID19 in the African Region in the past week.
This is according to the latest report from WHO on the region’s Coronavirus cases.
Against this background, Nigerian doctors had also described the proposed relaxation of lockdown scheduled for Monday as premature and warned that it may reverse the gains recorded so far in the fight against the pandemic in Nigeria.
