Nigerian Centre for Disease Control NCDC has confirmed Nigeria recorded 3 fresh deaths and 176 new cases of covid19 on Wednesday September 9.
This is as Covid19 in Nigeria new cases picked up again across the country with three dead and 176 new cases of the virus recorded in 17 states with FCT, Lagos and Plateau taking the highest grim share, TheConscience reports.
The NCDC confirmed new cases of the deadly Covid19 in Nigeria recently dropped significantly in most zones but has persisted especially in the South West and North Central regions fueled by persistent new cases in Lagos, Plateau, FCT, Kaduna, Rivers and Ebonyi States leaving the highest figures fluctuating between the first three listed states, TheConscience reports.
This online newspaper reports that NCDC authorities late Wednesday released the latest reports with FCT topping with 40 new cases closely followed by Lagos with 32 new cases.
From TheConscience Covid19 in Nigeria analysis, South West, North Central, South East and South South zones recorded 70, 70, 18 and 15 of the 176 new cases respectively on Wednesday September 9.
According to NCDC, “On the 9th of September 2020, 176 new confirmed cases and 3 deaths were recorded in Nigeria.

“Till date, 55632 cases have been confirmed, 43610 cases have been discharged and 1070 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

“The 176 new cases are reported from 17 states- FCT (40), Lagos (34), Plateau (26), Enugu (14), Delta (12), Ogun (12), Ondo (9), Oyo (8), Ekiti (6), Ebonyi (4), Adamawa (2), Nasarawa (2), Kwara(2), Rivers (2), Edo (1), Osun (1), Bauchi (1).”
