Kwara State Government has appointed Dr. J.B.O Adewumi as the new Chancellor of Kwara State University, Malete.
This was contained in an appointment letter signed by Kwara State Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Science and Technology, Hajia Sa’adatu Modibbo on May 15, 2020.
The appointment is for five (5) years, single term and takes immediate effect.
Dr, Adewumi is the proprietor of Thomas Adewumi College and University, and Asiwaju of Oko-Irese in Irepodun local government.
