BRT Driver Sentenced To Death For Murder Of Bamise Ayanwola
THECONSCIENCE NG reports that the Lagos High Court, sitting at Tafawa Balewa Square, has convicted and sentenced Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) driver, Andrew Ominikoron, to death for the murder of 22-year-old fashion designer, Bamise Ayanwola.
Delivering a judgment that spanned over two and a half hours, Justice Serifat Sonaike ruled that the Lagos State Government had successfully proven the case beyond reasonable doubt.
In her final pronouncement, Justice Sonaike stated: “For the death of Oluwabamise Ayanwola, you shall be hanged by the neck until you are dead. May God have mercy upon your soul.”
