President Tinubu To Visit Katsina State On Friday For Project Inaugurations
THECONSCIENCE NG reports that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is scheduled to embark on a one-day working visit to Katsina State on Friday, marking his first official visit to the state since assuming office in 2023.
The announcement was made on Wednesday by the Katsina State Commissioner for Information and Culture, Bala Salisu Zango, during a press briefing at the Government House Press Centre.
According to Zango, President Tinubu will inaugurate two major projects completed by the administration of Governor Dikko Umar Radda. These include the Katsina State Agricultural Mechanisation Centre and the Eastern Bypass — a major road network stretching from Dutsin-Ma Road, through Kano and Daura roads, and ending at Yandaki in Kaita Local Government Area.
Zango also noted that the visit presents an opportunity for the state government to engage directly with the President on pressing issues, particularly the challenge of insecurity in the region.
He called on residents to turn out in large numbers to welcome the President and urged them to remain peaceful and law-abiding throughout the visit.
