Mojisola Meranda Resigns As Lagos Speaker, Re-Elected Deputy Speaker
Mojisola Meranda has stepped down as the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly just seven weeks after assuming the role.
The lawmaker, who represents Apapa Constituency I, made the announcement on Monday, coinciding with her re-election as the Deputy Speaker of the Assembly.
Fellow lawmakers praised her leadership, highlighting her role in fostering peace within the Assembly. They also lauded her strength, humility, and adherence to the rules and regulations of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
