Kyari Again! How He Ordered Police Lawyer To Divert Proceeds Of Hotel Owned By Late Alleged Kidnap Kingpin Into His Bank Account
A lawyer attached to the Inspector General of Police Intelligence Response Team (IGP-IRT), Nosa Uhumwangho, has explained how Abba Kyari, the embattled ‘Super Cop’ made him pay proceeds from a hotel owned by an alleged late kidnap Kingpin Into his account.
Nosa Uhumwangho stated this while appearing before the Nigerian Bar Association Legal Practitioners Discplinary Committee (LPDC) on Wednesday.
The lawyer said Abba Kyari told him to pay the sum of N3,075,300, which was generated from De-English hotel, Enugu and another property at 21, Edinburgh Street, owned by late Collins Ezenwa also known as E-Money, an alleged kidnapper, into his (Uhumwangho’s) bank account.
Kyari who was suspended from the Nigerian Police Force, is under investigation after an indictment by the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), over his relationship with a popular internet fraudster Ramon Abbas Igbalode popularly called Hushpuppi.
The embattled cop has denied the allegations of corruption levied against him by FBI here in Nigeria, meanwhile Investigation is still ongoing.
