Sanwo-Olu to Mark 2 Years Anniversary with Special Ju’mat Prayers
In continuation of the commemoration of the two years anniversary of Lagos Sate Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu led administration, a special Jumat prayer shall hold at the Lagos State secretariat mosque on Friday, THECONSCIENCEng reports.
The Special Prayers which will be attended by the Governor and top government officials is to celebrate the milestone and rededicate the administration to God for guidance.
The Special Adviser to Lagos State Government on Islamic matters, Hon. Jebe Abdullahi Ahmad, who confirmed the event, said it offers another opportunity for the administration to seek the face of Allah for direction and rededicate itself through prayers to the service of Lagosians.
Jebe, a key executive under the Lagos State Ministry of Home Affairs and Culture, also noted that many respected Islamic clerics across the state as well as notable Muslim faithfuls will attend the event to show solidarity with Governor Sanwo-Olu and his team, and jointly seek the mercy and favours of Almighty Allah on the administration and its programmes for a successful tenure.
