Impact School Students Set for UK Tilcareer Institute Int’l Holiday Programme
London Tilcareer Institute (LTI), United Kingdom, has announced plans to receive a group of Nigerian students for its annual International Holiday Programme, scheduled to begin in London this December.
The students, mainly from The Impact School, Akure, Ondo State, will depart Nigeria soon to spend their Christmas season in the UK as part of an intensive academic, cultural, and leadership development tour.
The programme will focus on digital skills, creative leadership, global citizenship, UK cultural and historical tourism, and academic career orientation for young learners.
Dr Oyewole Alegbeleye, LTI’s Director of International Affairs, confirmed from London that preparations are in top gear to welcome the students. “We are excited to host this cohort from Nigeria. Our team is fully prepared, and all arrangements — from accommodation and mobility to workshops, academic briefings, and seasonal excursions — are in place.
The students are yet to arrive, but London is ready for their reception,” he said.
Dr Alegbeleye added that spending the festive season in London would not only expose students to multicultural influence but also strengthen their confidence, creativity, and social interaction.

Officials from The Impact School, Akure, described the initiative as timely, saying that global exposure is now a vital component of modern education. “This is an unforgettable opportunity for our students. Experiencing another country’s educational system and cultural environment adds incomparable value to their growth,” a school representative said.
During their stay, the students will visit notable attractions including Winter Wonderland, Hyde Park; the British Museum; Parliament Square and Westminster; the London Eye; the Science Museum; and Oxford Street Christmas Lights. They will also attend global technology exhibitions. Selected UK mentors, teachers, and youth leadership trainers will facilitate workshops throughout the programme.
The London Tilcareer Institute announced plans to expand its holiday, summer, and Easter programmes to include more Nigerian schools from 2026. “We are engaging more schools, educators, and parents across Nigeria. Our mission is to prepare African youths for global competitiveness,” Dr Alegbeleye said.
Parents have praised the initiative, describing it as a valuable investment in the future of African children.
