Otunba Oloyede Almaroof, Oshodi Council Boss Commends Tinubu, Sanwo-Olu For Encouraging Brilliant Minds To Join Lagos Politics

Otunba Oloyede Almaroof Kehinde, newly sworn-in Chairman of Oshodi Local Government has commended the All Progressive Congress National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu for encouraging people with sharp minds and brilliant ideas who are willing to work to participate in the governance of the state.

The council boss who soke to THECONSCIENCEng following his inauguration by the State Governor in Lagos said, “Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu should be commended for encouraging people with sharp minds and brilliant ideas who are willing to work to participate in the governance of the state.”

He added that the leaders progressive approach has attracted many brilliant minds into the fold of Lagos leadership, and has helped to develop the state and make it a pace setter in many areas.

Oloyede Almaroof: How I Plan To Transform Oshodi Completely, Boost Trading

Oloyede who further highlighted the place of synergy and political will in governance and development revealed that in his bid to hit the ground running he has met the commissioner from Oshodi and looks forward to working well with other political leaders including Assembly members and state government to ensure that Oshodi residents get maximum dividends of democracy at the local government level.

“I met with my commissioner from Oshodi, Hon Moruf Akindero. We spoke at length. The synergy between local government, house of Representatives, and house of Assembly is crucial. If we work together, we will achieve a lot and he has promised me to assist with the vital areas.

“Even before getting to government, I am already familiar with the task at hand. There is no room for rest but serious work because I’m here to make a difference.

“If there is a political will to perform, government can deliver. Once we cooperate, we will transform Oshodi with the partnership. I campaigned vigorously because we want people to believe in government. I am trying to ginger people to wake them up for good governance.

“Once we deliver which we will, more people will get involved in government. We will be able to tell them in 2023, vote for our governor, Senator, Assembly and President, and people will eagerly come out

“After I voted during the last local government elections in Lagos, I met some boys playing ball and told them to vote and they said no.

“They told me there is no water in the neighbourhood and immediately as a property developer, I made arrangements for bore hole and put their leader, a woman who most vocal in charge of it and gave her my number to call me once its done.”

“I want to deliver well because I have a long term plan for impactful leadership,” Oloyede Almaroof concluded.
