A latest report by Forbes has shown that the Spanish La Liga giants, Real Madrid are the most valuable football team in the world for 2022 with a valuation of $5.1 billion.
Real Madrid who take on Liverpool in the finals of this season’s Champions League competition on Saturday will also get in excess of £100m for reaching the finals of Europe’s elite football competition to further boost their fortunes.
THECONSCIENCENG gathered that according to the Forbes report that Madrid’s arch-rivals, Barcelona occupy the second position with a $5 billion valuation despite their recent financial challenges.
A further breakdown of the top ten clubs shows that England with the English Premier League has the highest representation with five clubs, Spain has two clubs on the list, Germany, France and Italy have one representative each.
