The family of Miss Nneoyi Sunday Felix have decried gruesome murder of their daughter who is eight months old pregnant by Ofem Usani, Usani Augustine, Emmanuel Ettah and others from Biko-Biko clan, UGEP, Yakurr LGA in Cross Rivers State.

According to reports, the unfortunate incident occurred when the suspects had an altercation with the deceased and brutally assaulted her by strangling her to death in circumstances which are not only questionable but evidently malicious.

Sadly, without informing her family or consulting with them, in a bid to cover the unlawful act, the suspects through one Etem they paid a quack doctor to unlawfully remove the baby from the deceased womb and deposited her corpse in the mortuary, UGEP General Hospital and also buried the baby.

Sadly, the family were shocked when a few hours after their arrest, the suspects were allegedly released on the order of the Commissioner of Police in Cross Rivers, Mr Augustine Grimah. These unfortunate developments have sent shock and dismay to the family concerned which made them doubt the capability of the Cross Rivers state police command under the CP to administer justice and equity on such a horrible criminal incident.
