Kwara domestic debt stock drops by 45.8%
Kwara State Domestic Debt now stands at N59,071,666,365.52 as of the first quarter of 2024, 45.89% down from the figure in December 2023, according to the first quarter report of the Debt Management Office (DMO).
The DMO report of December 2023 had put the debt stock of the state at N109,162,798,865.21.
The report underscored the efforts of the state government to beat down debts amid its relentless infrastructural drive across the state.
