Lagos Police Arrests Boxer “SHAMELON” For Knocking Out Ikorodu Artisan To Death

As part of relentless efforts against lawlessness and criminality in Lagos State, the state Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Jimoh Moshood has swiftly intervened in a case of an Ikorodu Lagos undecorated professional boxer-puncher by name one Rasheed Adedeji popularly known as Bintin ‘M’ Aged 50yrs of Lejina Street, Adamo Axis, Ikorodu area of Lagos State.

 

Adedeji was alleged to have given one SEFIU AJAO of the same street some well delivered hot jabs over mere altercations on a seized and punctured football belonging to the son of the trained boxer.

The ugly incident occured on the 24th of October, 2025 at about 11:26am when both parties were returning back from the palace of the Baale of the Adamo locality of Ikorodu Lagos.

The Baale had tried and successfully mediated with the feuding parties by ensuring that the late SEFIU AJAO bought a new football to replace the bursted one. The deceased was said to have been accosted on the road by the suspect who promptly sent him to his early grave with his deadly blow.

However, feelers from other residents and eye witnesses confirmed that Mr. Rasheed Adedeji rushed after late SEFIU AJAO and delivered some hot blows to his forehead which momentarily got him disolussioned, collapsed in the process and was rushed to Agbowa General Hospital, Ikorodu. where he was pronounced dead by the doctor on duty.

In view of this, Homicide Detectives and Forensic Crime Scene experts at the State Criminal Investigation Department Panti Yaba famous for its crime detection prowess, was said to have quickly mobilized to the scene and took over the case with a way for the culprit to face the full weight of the law.

 

Our correspondent gathered that the Suspect is currently cooling off his iron cast fists at the State CID Panti while autopsy result is being awaited from the Pathologists.

It will be recalled that the real and authentic Shamelon, one Shamisdeen Oladiti ‘M’, a professionally trained boxer was arrested by the same Lagos State Criminal Investigation Department Panti Yaba Lagos, reputed as the Nation’s premier State Criminal Investigation Department, over similar act of suspected murder of a number of victims in the Lagos Island area of Lagos State.

He was arraigned in court on Tuesday 30th of September 2025. facing Murder charges and currently remanded in Ikoyi Prison.
Investigation is allegedly ongoing in the current case involving Mr Rasheed Adedeji popularly known as Bintin who may likely face similar prosecution fate soonest which befell Shamusideen Oladuti a.k.a. Shamelon.

Meanwhile, CP Jimoh also deizes the privilege to reaffirm the Command’s Zero tolerance to crime imploring members of the Public to remain resolute, security conscious and to share timely, credible information with the police across the Command.
