GOV. ABIODUN APPOINTS NEW ATTORNEY GENERAL
Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has nominated Mr Oluwasina Olanrewaju Ogungbade as the State’s Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice.
Announcing the appointment in a statement issued in Abeokuta on Thursday the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Kunle Somorin, said Mr Ogungbade, 48, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) designate, hails from Abeokuta North Local Government, and studied Law at the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Osun State and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2000.
He has appeared as lead counsel in over 50 appeals decided at the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Nigeria and was a counsel for Nigeria at the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Dispute (ICSID).
