President Tinubu to Commission Anyaoku Institute at UNIZIK on Thursday

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, will on Thursday, 8th May 2025, visit the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, (UNIZIK), Awka, Anambra State.

During the visit, Tinubu, who is also the Visitor to the University, will commission the newly completed state-of-the-art Emeka Anyaoku Institute for International Studies and Diplomacy amongst other scheduled activities.

This was disclosed in an internal memorandum released and signed by Victor Modebolu, the Acting Registrar of the university, on Monday, 5th May.

The memorandum, titled “Notice of the Visit of His Excellency, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR to the University,” urged the university community to extend warmth and affection to the visitors during the historic occasion, which holds great potential to further elevate the institution.

It further stated that staff and students are expected to turn out in large numbers and be on campus as early as 9am to welcome the President.
