“I NO DEY DO AGAIN, You Supposed be Eatery”, Angry Customers Rain Abuses on Access Bank
Angry customers of popular financial institution in Nigeria, Access Bank, came heavy on the bank hurling invectives and using derogatory words to vent their frustrations over its consistently poor services, negligence and insensitivity.
The bank had sparked outrage when it posted a message on its social media handle about its upcoming marathon event amidst dire scarcity of the new naira notes and petrol in the country which had led to banks inability to provide cash to customers for weeks.
The post on its Twitter handle reads, “Today, we pushed the limit at the Access Bank Lagos Marathon.”
In a swift reaction, numerous unhappy customers attacked the bank for insensitivity, quering if marathon was important when the core duty of banking has been abandoned.
Some of the customers threatened to dump the bank over its generally unsatisfactorily services and attitude.
They further lamented on many areas where the bank fell short of expectations, including deductions from account without crediting intended receivers, refusal to refund unsuccessful transactions, unauthorized deductions, poor network, stealing customers funds, debiting for non existing cards, unknown charges, ATM machines not dispensing cash amidst other complaints.
The angry customers said it was very insensitive for the bank to post on marathon activity while it has failed woefully to meet their core needs.
