Why Youths Must Embrace Agriculture More – ArcView MD

 

The Managing Director of Arc-View Investments LimitedArc-View Investments Limited, Mr. Abiodun Idowu Okegbenro, has urged young Nigerians to see land and agriculture as strategic economic assets.

 

He cautioned against prioritising short-term, flashy investments and luxury lifestyles over long-term wealth-building opportunities such as land ownership, agriculture and real estate development.

According to him, integrating agric and real estate presents significant potential for enterprise development and sustainable economic growth.

He made the remarks during the launch of SparkHubs, a free digital platform that offers unique opportunities for youths to access life skills, connections and mentorship.

He spoke on Project A.R.E (Agric, Real Estate and Export) — an inclusive economic framework designed to open structured value chains for young people, promote dignity of labour, wealth creation and national productivity.

Why Youths Must Embrace Agriculture More

Project A.R.E is one of the benefits available to users who register on the SparkHubs platform, unveiled by The Global Clusters, a non-governmental nation-building organisation, in Lagos on Tuesday.

Project A.R.E Coordinator, Dr. Seyi Makinde, explained that the initiative integrates the agriculture, real estate and export sectors to build a sustainable, value-driven economic ecosystem.

According to him, the programme offers a secure investment pathway through a structured absentee farming model, where participants can acquire land, engage professional farm managers to cultivate it, and earn steady income from produce sold to international markets.
