Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu extended a hand of love and care to indigent residents on Tuesday in a perfect atmosphere of compassion meets passion.

At the “Sanwo-Olu Listens” program held at the LCCI Hall, Ikeja, the Lagos Governor met the needs of residents who were in dire need, especially those who reached out in recent weeks through the Sanwo-Olu Listens initiative seeking urgent assistance for business, health and other needs especially with the hard impact of Covid-19.

As part of the event, Sanwo-Olu handed indigent Lagosians cheques for various urgent needs including for artificial legs and related needs. During the programme, 50 struggling Lagosians, comprising the elderly, nursing mothers, youths and small scale business owners who were first set of beneficiaries of the programme, received cheques from the Governor to meet up with urgent needs.
