Davido Reacts After Father Made Deep Revelations on Prolonged Paternity Claims
Nigerian superstar singer, Davido, has expressed deep gratitude to his billionaire father, Dr Adedeji Adeleke, for speaking up and making deep revelations in his defense amid a prolonged paternity drama with his alleged baby mama, Ayo Labinjoh.
An open letter that appeared to have been written by Ayo Labinjoh’s teenager daughter, Aanu, recently surfaced, demanding her alleged father, David, to do a paternity test.
While denying ever seeing Ayo Labinjoh before, the superstar, in a series of posts on X, stated that five DNA tests conducted before now showed that Aanu is not his daughter.
In response, Labinjoh insisted that Davido is her daughter’s father, tagging the DNA test as fake.
THECONSCIENCE NG reports that while defending his son in a first ever press conference on Wednesday, Dr Adedeji Adeleke, gave detailed disclosures on the matter that has lingered for years.
The senior Adeleke affirmed that five independent paternity tests including at hospitals preferred by Ayo Labinjoh’s family were conducted on both Davido and his cousin, singer B-Red.
Dr Adeleke also slammed blogger, Kemi Olunloyo, accusing her of being responsible for writing the open letter, spreading falsehoods and impersonating the minor to make personal gains on the matter.
He also rebuked Olunloyo over false claims he said she made to have been a close friend to his late wife who was helpful when David was born.
Adeleke went ahead and shared personal details surrounding the birth of Davido including incidents in the UK and US, insisting he never met Kemi Olunloyo.
Reacting to the development in a post on his Instagram page on Thursday, the singer thanked his father for the public support
Sharing a picture of them together, the singer wrote:
“Thank you my loving Father.”
