Man ‘kisses’ Tems On Stage, Denies Wife During Concert
THECONSCIENCE NG reports that a married man identified as Carlos, mentioned by Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has gone viral after a short clip showed him denying his marital status to share a playful moment with the artist on stage.
The incident occurred during Tems’ performance at the Afro Punk Festival in Brazil, where the singer interacted with Carlos while performing. In the viral clip, Tems is seen smiling and telling him, “I know your wife is here and I need to respect her,” making it clear that she did not wish to get too close out of respect for his spouse.
Carlos, however, denied being married and proceeded to kiss Tems’ hand, a gesture that drew loud cheers and excitement from the audience. Tems, appearing amused and shy, laughed off the moment, creating a buzz that quickly spread across social media platforms.
Following the viral clip, several social media users shared their opinions on the situation. One Instagram user, @ludi.cs, wrote, “But the wife gave consent 😂,” suggesting the moment might have been harmless fun. Another, @boy_adequate, described Carlos as “a finished man 😂😂,” while @mr_diepriye added, “If his wife permits the disrespect, who goes me to frown at this. Love this for them.”
The playful encounter continues to trend online, with many fans debating whether Carlos’s actions were disrespectful or simply part of the show’s lively energy. Tems has not made any further comments on the incident.
