Skit Maker Sanku Dies In Oyo Car Accident
THECONSCIENCE NG reports that Popular with Nigerian comedian and skit maker, Sanku, has died following a fatal car accident along Ogbomoso Road in Oyo State.
The crash, which occurred in the early hours of Monday, September 1, 2025, left several passengers injured.
Sanku and another victim were said to be critically wounded, but the comedian was later confirmed dead at the hospital.
Skit maker Ozain Comedy confirmed the tragedy on his Instagram story with the post, “Rest well, soldier,” shortly after influencer Jidex also took to TikTok to speak on his death with the caption, “Rest in peace.”
Sanku, who began his comedy career in 2021, shot to prominence in 2024, after which his style and originality quickly won him a loyal following online with over one million followers on TikTok.
Since news of his death broke, fans, influencers, and fellow entertainers have flooded social media platforms such as X and Instagram with tributes to the late skit maker.
