FirstBank, a financial institution that has been in Nigeria for almost 130 years, is known for its commitment to supporting art, entertainment, and family fun time. As part of this commitment, the bank sponsors premium shows and events, and offers free tickets to its customers to give them the best yuletide experience. The Asake concert in Lagos came after a successful performance in Abuja, also sponsored by FirstBank.

Asake, also known as Mr Money, has gained fame for his monster global Afrobeat hit songs. His energetic performances and captivating stage presence had the audience going wild. Hits like “Joha,” “Yoga,” “2.30,” “Terminator,” “Sunshine,” “New Religion,” and “Omo Ope” had everyone on their feet, dancing and singing along.

To participate in the DecemberIssaVybe campaign and stand a chance to win VIP tickets to watch Asake perform live, all customers had to do was follow FirstBank on social media. The bank can be found on Facebook as First Bank of Nigeria Limited and on Instagram as @firstbanknigeria.

Asake’s concert in Lagos was a testament to his status as a heavyweight Nigerian music phenomenon and songwriter. Within 24 hours of its release, the album hit No. 1 in 14 countries and garnered more than one billion streams across prominent digital streaming platforms.
