Experts to Discuss Media’s Role in Governance, Nation-Building at Pan-Atlantic University Roundtable
Media experts and opinion leaders will gather to explore the strategic roles of media in holding leadership accountable and fostering positive change in Nigeria during the upcoming Pan-Atlantic University Roundtable.
The event will showcase a distinguished panel of discussants from various media sectors, including print, broadcast, and online platforms.
THECONSCIENCE NG reports that notable speakers expected to participate include Magnus Onyibe, Fisayo Soyombo, Seun Okinbaloye, Ayo Mairo Ese, Sheriff Quadry, and Maryann Duke-Okon.
According to a statement from the organisers, the second edition of the roundtable will take place on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Lekki Campus, home to the Lagos Business School.
The theme, “Beyond Critique: The Importance of Constructive Media Engagement in Governance and Nation-Building,” promises to inspire a thought-provoking discussion on the media’s crucial role in shaping a better society.
The statement further emphasised, “This event will investigate the vital role media plays in holding leadership accountable, fostering informed discourse, and promoting positive change.
