54 African countries who are all members of the African Union have reported 112,290 Cases, 3,359 Deaths and 44,920 Recoveries on novel coronavirus as at Monday May 25, according to a document received by TheConscience exclusively.
A check on the document which details the grim record by African regions, shows that Northern Africans are the hardest hit with 34,429 cases, 1,621 deaths and 15,094 recoveries.
Sadly, Algeria alone recorded 600 deaths, with just 15 lower than 615 recorded in the entire West Africa.
