Hon. Emmanuel Bamgboye, Newly Re-elected Mushin LG Boss Unveils Programmes

Hon. Emmanuel Bamgboye, the newly re-elected Chairman of Mushin Local Government has unveiled his administration’s programmes for a second term.

The new council boss said he has done a lot and will consolidate his first-term efforts by completing all uncompleted projects and initiating fresh programmes.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with THECONSCIENCEng, he revealed that for example the newly commissioned hospitals will now get his administration’s attention to equip them properly for effective healthcare delivery while ongoing housing estate will also be completed amongst others.

Emmanuel Bamgboye further highlighted environment, security, road construction and rehabilitation, and markets as some of the focal areas for his second term.

“We need to tidy the environment, take care of drainage and refuse management. we also need to improve on security. The police are weakened and need to be supported. We will beef up security to ensure safety of lives and property.

“We need to consider road construction and rehabilitation. We have done 32 roads but need to do more. This is because 60% of our roads were not completed before and we want to also focus on that because of the nature of our area.

“We have about 34 markets in Mushin and we need to pay more attention to that. We need to upgrade those markets to meet up with a mega city plan. We need to do more rehabilitation of the markets to suit modern plan.” he enumerated.

The council boss also expressed gratitude to the people of Mushin and pledged to take the local government to an enviable height.
