Stick to Lessons from Life of Jesus, Otunba Oloyede Tells Christians at Easter
The executive chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede has urged christians in Nigeria especially oshodi to emulate key lessons from the life of Jesus Christ as the world celebrates Easter.
The council boss also felicitated with Christian faithfuls across the globe, especially the ones domiciled within the local government, on this year’s Easter celebration.
Otunba Oloyede who gave the message in a release made available by his media office described the resurrection of Jesus Christ as an epoch event signaling a rebirth and fresh start that is still reverberating thousands of years after.
He implored christian faithfuls to stick to the lessons of sobriety and self-control learned during the lent period and continue to adhere by the teachings of the activities leading to the crucification and eventual resurrection of Jesus Christ.
He said, “Today is yet another Easter celebration that marked the resurrection of Jesus Christ after being crucified. I urge our people to continue in the habit of self-control and sobriety as exemplified by the lent period.
I also implore them to stick to the numerous teachings of Jesus Christ and relate to one another as brothers. He has risen! Happy Easter to us all.”
