Nwosu is a highly respected and accomplished leader in the capital markets industry. She brings a wealth of experience to the role, having previously served as Chief Operating Officer of Africa Prudential Plc from 2010 to 2022. She currently holds the position of 2nd Vice President at the Institute of Capital Market Registrars (ICMR).
Her in-depth knowledge of the company, combined with her proven leadership skills and extensive experience in the financial sector, make her ideally suited to lead Africa Prudential PIc into the future. She is expected to build upon the company’s strong foundation to guide it to greater success.
Background:
Nwosu’s professional journey is marked by a series of notable accomplishments and milestones. She has held senior leadership positions in reputable organizations, where she played a pivotal role in driving growth and strengthening corporate governance. Her experience spans across diverse sectors, including banking, asset management, and insurance, giving her a well-rounded perspective on the financial services landscape.
Her association with Africa Prudential Plc dates back to its inception in 2006, where she served in various capacities notably as Chief Operating Officer (COO) from 2010 to 2022.
Before returning to the firm as CEO, Mrs. Nwosu served as the Head of Stakeholders Engagement at BUA Group from December 2022 till February 2024.
She had also worked at the United Bank of Africa (UBA) earlier in her career as a customer service officer as far back as the early ‘90s.
Education:
Catherine Nwosu’s educational background lays a solid foundation for her success in the industry. she is an alumna of the Senior Management Program at the Lagos Business School, a Fellow of the Institute of Capital Market Registrars, an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, and holds degrees in Business Administration, including an MBA.
