The Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) on Sunday held its 2025 annual thanksgiving service at its Ikotun, Lagos headquarters, during which it chronicled the church’s various spiritual programmes and activities across the world in 2025—through which God, performed signs and wonders and gave renewed hope to His people.

Leader of the Church, Pastor Evelyn T. B. Joshua, who led the charge at SCOAN’s programmes and events throughout the year, was used by God for deliverance, salvation, charity, as well as revival for many people from all corners of the earth.

THECONSCIENCE NG reports thay some of the major programmes for the year included the SCOAN Kenya Football Charity; the 19th Anniversary of Emmanuel TV, the church’s television ministry; the Palm Sunday Special Service and a 3-day Revival Meeting in Nigeria at the Headquarters Prayer Mountain, where Pastor Evelyn shared biblical insights on the life of Prophet Elijah from 1 Kings 16.

B. Joshua’s 62nd posthumous birthday and decoder launching; the Akure, Ondo visitation; the Nigeria Youth Convention; and the Emmanuel TV Partners Meeting.

Delivering the Thanksgiving Message on Sunday in Lagos, Pastor Evelyn Joshua urged the hundreds of congregants—clad in colourful attires and in joyous mood—to continue thanking Almighty God, who she said had fulfilled His promise to “do new things.” She noted that throughout the year, God had “lifted His people in many ways,” including the church.

She reminded worshippers that “God has asked us to flourish,” describing the thanksgiving service as an opportunity to “return all glory to God Almighty over The Synagogue Church of All Nations and its members.”

“To every member of SCOAN, every fan and supporter, we say thank you for standing, praying, loving, believing and sacrificing,” she said.

Quoting Hebrews 6:10, she added: “To all our friends and partners across the world, God will never forget your labour of love as Scripture says.”

Looking ahead, she encouraged the congregation: “As we look to the coming year, I encourage you all to hold on to God with absolute faith, walk with Him boldly, expectantly and joyfully, for the path of the righteous is like a shining star, shining ever brighter unto the perfect day. In this ministry, better is not good enough; best is yet to come.”

The programme, described as a remarkable way to end the year, featured hours of soul-lifting praise and worship, comedy by popular act Akpororo, opera musical performances by Esther Oputteh and Doris Osuagwu, Bible reading and multiple guest musical performances.

The church’s exploits and activities throughout the year were aired during the “Recounting His Faithfulness” session.
