Six contestants from Team Waje performed various songs to the excitement and surprise of coaches and viewers in the episode 9 as The Voice Nigeria 3 talents reality series continued during the weekend.
Teslim, Ifunanya, Nuel Ayo, Eazzie, Inioluwa and Anu were the six contestants from Team Waje that made it to the knock out stage.
Shockingly, an outstanding Anu had to be quickly ‘stolen’ by Coach Yemi while she was about to be shipped to the danger zone by Waje. Anu, who had performed last with a beautiful delivery of “God Is A Woman” by Ariane Grande got the Coaches very excited especially Coach Falz on his feet. “No comment. She (Coach Waje) has her work cut out for her because the way you (Anu) slayed, you killed them all. Just kill them on” said Coach Dare but surprisingly Waje sent her to the danger zone before Yemi quickly pushed the buzzer to intervene.
Nuel Ayo and Inioluwa had sung “When A Woman Loves” by R Kelly and “Fire On The Mountain” by Asa respectively to loud applauses and the tickets while Eazzie performed a very sensual “California King Bed” by Rihanna.
6 Weeks After, Ag. IGP Usman Alkali Baba’s Appointment Continues to Raise Dust
Sadly, Teslim’s performance of “Run Away” by Style Plus and Ifunanya’s rendition of Seyi Shay’s “Right Now” failed to earn them seats at the next stage while only the victorious Nuel Ayo, Inioluwa and Eazzie will represent Team Waje at The Battles stage.
Coach Waje was under the spotlight during the episode and had to make the tough calls on the fate of the contestants who all gave their all and had great hopes of proceeding to the next phase on the show.
The show gets hotter as the next episode 10 will bring Coach Darey under the radar as he prepares his talents for great performances following which he would have to pick the best from the pack.
