Seven more talents have been selected by the judges following their impressive performances among others during the second episode of the voice Nigeria season 4, raising the tally to fourteen.
They include Temitope Akinola, Emmanuel Ogionwo, Matthew Abah, Aderemi Adeniyi, Roland Matthew, Amaka Ogechukwu and Star Onuogha.
The latest additions have picked 7 more of the 48 spots available in the blind auditions stage of the global music talents reality TV show sponsored by Nigeria’s premier financial institution, FirstBank.
Four Nigerian music superstars serving as judges – Niyola, Praiz, Waje and Naeto C, are out to spot 12 talents each in a bid to assemble 48 talents who will proceed into the next phase after the auditions.
27 year old, super talented Temitope wowed the coaches with her opening performance of Bob Marley’s “No Woman No Cry”. Her amazing voice, vocal dexterity and powerful tone got three judges turning for her before she settled for team Praiz.

Emmanuel did an amazing remake of Asa’s 360 and the 33 year old civil servant later chose Waje after she and Niyola had turned for him.
Aderemi gave a sterling performance getting all four judges to turn for him. The Ekiti born singer who dedicated his delivery of Papa by Johnny Drille to his dad later joined team Praiz.
With his distinct baritone, Abah’s delivery of Andrea Bocelli’s ‘Time to say goodbye’ didn’t just get him a spot with Team Waje but got emotions skyrocketing with Waje screaming and standing ovation from three judges.
Roland’s rendition of Asa’s ‘Jailer’also got him a spot on the show with Niyola. Having gone through a tough upbringing, the singer who said he sought to offer hope with his versatile voice almost got into trouble on the show.
Ckay’s hit song ‘Felony’ was redone in Amaka’s unique way with a sweet melody which got her a place with team Naeto C.
24 year old Star’s big voice came in handy as she renders Beyonce’s ‘Freedom’ before joining Naeto C.
Seven talents had earlier emerged during the first episode. Praiz got sensational songbird Benjamin Ayemere and Peter Francis to his team while Waje had Jochebel Pepple and Agbroko Tejiri join her team. Joy CCJ Chukwuma and Melody Thompson opted for Niyola while rapper Naeto C settled for Quindon Ogah.
At the end of episode two, both Praiz and Waje have four talents each while Naeto C and Niyola got three talents each.
