Many groups, Friends and well wishers of the ruling Party, APC has offered congratulatory messages to Tayo Ayinde, who was recently picked by the Lagos APC leadership as the Director General of the 2023 campaign of the Presidential Election of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Shetima.
THECONSCIENCEng reports that Ayinde, who serves as the Chief of Staff to Governor Sanwo-olu, is also saddled with the re- election of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Obafemi Hamzat as the Governor and Deputy Governor of Lagos State.
The new DG, who is known in the political world as “BUFFALO” was recently sworn in with other Directors, Deputy Directors and Secretary’s to Committees of the different directorates of the Independent Campaign Group, “ICG”.
The event which took place at the APC party secretariat on Oduduwa way GRA, Ikeja, had many party stalwarts and leaders in attendance.

Cardinal James Odumbaku, popularly known as “BABA ETO”, AIG Odumosu, Hon. Funmi Tejuosho and other dignitaries supervised the event.
Tayo Ayinde was the Director General of the ICG, for the election of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Obafemi Hamzat as Governor and Deputy Governor of Lagos state four years ago.
According to party faithfuls who spoke at the event said “Buffalo” is the right man for the job, with the outstanding success achieved at the 2018 polls.
Tayo Ayinde was absent at the event due to the recent loss of his wife, Princess Adedoyin.
Many are confident that the coming election is a done deal at the state and federal levels, because the ICG has the best hands, brains and intellectuals that can deliver on the job at hand.
