Superstar Nigerian Singers, Burna Boy and Rema have dominated the prestigious 2023 Billboard U.S. Afrobeats awards across the categories, closing the year on a high note and dwarfing fellow singers like Wizkid, Davido and Asake.
Grammy-winning singer, Burna Boy, was ranked No. 1 on the Billboard Year-End U.S. Afrobeats Artists Chart while ‘Calm Down’ crooner, Rema also ranked No.1 for both Billboard Afrobeats Songs chart and Billboard’s 2023 Pop Airplay & Rhythmic Airplay year-end chart.
In the Artiste Chart category led by Burna Boy, ‘Rema occupied the second spot while Tems, Cameroonian diva, Libianca, and Wizkid got third, fourth and fifth spots respectively.

Ayra Starr, CKay, Asake, Davido and Oxlade completed the top 10 in the list released on Tuesday via the Billboard website.

Meanwhile, Rema won the Songs Chart with ‘Calm Down’ remix featuring Selena Gomez while Libianca’s ‘People’ and Tems’ ‘Free Mind’ ranked at number two and three spots respectively.
Wizkid’s ‘Essence’ featuring Tems and Justin Bieber, and Burna Boy’s ‘Last Last’ completed the top 5.
Rema also topped the Airplay & Rhythmic Airplay year-end charts with ‘Calm Down’, and was No. 6 on the Hot 100 Year-End 2023 chart.
The Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs is a chart that ranks the best-performing Afrobeats singles of the United States.
