Go Culture, a cultures and values promotion organisation has paid glowing tribute to a prominent and first class Yoruba monarch, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Babatunde Enitan Ogunwusi, The Ooni of Ife (Ojaja II) on the occasion of Ooni’s annual birthday celebration.
In a media chat, Go Culture convener, Idris Iwalewa Coker said the Monarch was not just a mentor but a role model to the youths and the generations yet unborn.
According to Coker, Ooni Ogunwusi has over the years remained not just an impeccable symbol of cultural heritage and glamour but has supported the younger generations through employment generating projects, building positive relationships, mentoring and providing leadership and role modelling. “He’s indeed a father figure for all and a symbol of unity.”
The Go Culture convener noted: “We are so proud of you on the occasion of your birthday. Thank you for playing the critical role of promoting and preserving the Nigerian Indigenous culture, youths engagement and social development.
“Ooni Ogunwusi is not just a mentor but a role model to the youths and the generation yet unborn. He looks for active ways to encourage the youths in their many different endeavors to be involved and lead out.
“Ooni Ogunwusi looks for ways to give the youths greater responsibilities by getting them involved in making decisions, in leading out in creativities and practicing indigenous culture, more also getting them familiar to moral values and etiquette.
“Ooni Ogunwusi rally youths together, support of their noble intentions and networking their great dreams for quick achievement. He encourages the youths when they are doing good, when they work to see the good news shared far and wide.
“Ooni Inspires and tells the youths who they, why they need to do more and why they are strong and are expected to do something great as YOUTHS of a great NATION.
