A Magistrate Court sitting in the Yaba area of Lagos State, has sent singer, Azeez Fashola, better known as Naira Marley, and Lagos socialite, Balogun Eletu, also known as Sam Larry, to 21 days in prison.
This online news platform gathered that the court remanded them and others on Wednesday, October 4, 2023.
The Lagos State Police Command had requested that Naira Marley and others be remanded for 30 days pending the completion of their investigation.

Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun however ruled that they be remanded for just 21 days.
Recall that Naira Marley and Sam Larry have been accused of frustrating, harassing and assaulting late singer #Mohbad, which led him to depression and eventual death.
Mohbad died on a Tuesday evening of September 12 after allegedly receiving a tetanus injection from a nurse, who was later declared as a quack by Nigeria nursing body, in a private hospital in Lagos.
The father of one, was seen in different videos been chased by some Marlians led by Sam Larry.
In one of the videos, Mohbad was seen running and saying “if I die today, Naira Marley is responsible”.
The late singer also sang about his imminent death in his last songs, emphasising that naira Marley was responsible.
To aid its investigation, police invited Naira Marley, Sammy Larry and Primeboy who first pronounced Mohbad’s dead to come for questioning, but at the time of filing this report, Primeboy has been declared wanted because he refused to honour police invitation.
