Publisher of Nigerian Popular Online News Platform, August24news.com Mr. Ajagbe Adeyemi Teslim has presented a ’40 by 72′ inches Modern Giant Political frame displaying faces and profiles of 80 distinguished female political office holders in Lagos State from 1999 to 2023, to the current first lady of Lagos, Her Excellency, Dr. Mrs. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu.
The Giant Frame was Tagged “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Babes in Lagos State” while the presentation was made last Saturday during a courtesy visit by the August24news.com team to the office of the First Lady in Ikeja Lagos.
The move was in recognition of Her Excellency’s contributions to the development of the state as well as her amiable personality and rallying leadership style.

The frame which seeks to celebrate women and their contributions in Lagos consists of Photographs, Names, and Profiles of the past and present distinguished female political office holders in the state from 1999 to 2023.
Beautiful Faces on the frame includes; Past Deputy Governors, Hon. Minister, Senators of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Federal House of Representatives members, State House of Assembly Members, Hon. Commissioners, Special Advisers, Council Chairperson, Council Executive Secretaries, Council Sole Administrator among others.
The presentation was done by Ajagbe as well as the Consultant Editor-in-Chief, Mr. Bolaji Israel, and the online Editor, Mr Samson Ajagbe respectively.
in her remarks, Her Excellency Dr. Mrs. Sanwo-Olu who received the team and the iconic frame personally commended the team for the great initiative and efforts.
She also hailed women and their contributions to the state and nation.
She further called on the Lagos State Archive Bureau to have the frame in their archives, stating that it’s a great way to keep records and honour the amazons.
Speaking shortly after the presentation, Ajagbe who is the brain behind the novel idea revealed that he has been compiling the list since the era of Governor Bola Tinubu in Lagos with the aim of celebrating women folks in Lagos state and the opportunity bestowed on them by President Tinubu, a leader who appreciates them greatly.
Ajagbe also expressed profound gratitude to the First Lady for receiving, endorsing, and blessing the frame project adding that the same will be presented to top female dignitaries in the state such as Honourable Ministers, Deputy Governor, Senators, Federal House of Representatives members, House of Assembly Members, Honourable Commissioners, Special Advisers, Council Chairperson, Board Appointees, Captains of Industries, Business Executives among Others.
Notable names on the frame are Senator Oluremi Tinubu (OON), Former First Lady of Lagos state and 3 term senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and current First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, H.E. Chief. Mrs. Sarah Adebisi Sosan, Former Deputy Governor of Lagos state and Commissioner for Education, H.E Chief. Mrs. Adejoke Orelope Adefulure, Former Deputy Governor of Lagos and Special Adviser to the president on SDGs, .H.E. Chief Mrs. Idiat Oluranti Adebule, Former Deputy Governor of Lagos State and Incumbent Senator.

Commenting on the project, the National President of the Guild of Corporate Online Publishers (GOCOP) and Publisher of Realnews Magazine, Mrs. Maureen Chigbo said members of the association are known for professionalism and creativity.
Also commenting was the Founder of Omo Alausa Foundation, Dr. Yinka Alausa, who said the project was a laudable appreciation of women and their contributions to governance and welfare of the people.
