The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the list of a total of sixty-nine 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results which were withheld from the last exercise.
THECONSCIENCENG reports that the 2022 UTME examination kick-started on Friday, 6th May and ended on Friday 13th May 2022.
The examination body has since granted access to candidates to begin checking and printing of their 2022 UTME results online and via mobile phone text messages.
JAMB had earlier told candidates that their 2022 UTME results can only be checked via SMS. It advised candidates in a statement released weeks ago, to send UTMERESULT to 55019 using the same phone number they used for JAMB registration 2022 to check their results.
The board subsequently released the results online for wider access and easy printing of result slips.
JAMB in its weekly publication through the office of the registrar, Professor Is-haq Oloyede, revealed that a total of 1,707,626 candidates sat for the 2022 UTME.
However, due to biometric and other related issues, 1,783 candidates have been rescheduled for a retake of their exams.
