An energetic, refreshed, confident looking Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Nigeria’s President-Elect, touched down at about 4:30pm on Monday, April 24, at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, in company of his wife, Oluremi and son, Seyi, to a cheery welcome of mammoth crowd that included his supporters, stalwarts and members of his ruling All Progressives Congress, APC including members of the now-dissolved Presidential Campaign Council, PCC.
Prior to the February 25th, 2023 Presidential Election, Tinubu’s state of health has attracted much buzz, mostly from opposition, especially the Labour Party and the ‘Obidients Movement’.
He was bullied, discredited, and disparaged with lies and rumours of ill health, but at the end of every instance continued to come out better and stronger.
In the build up to the Presidential Elections, Tinubu was the only Candidate who toured all the 36 States including the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, to campaign vehemently and canvass the electorates for votes.
While persistent rumours of his poor health state went on like wild fire fueled by mischief makers and political enemies, Tinubu waxed stronger and kept his focus on the prize and continued to thrive and triumph like a cat with nine lives.
The harder his accusers tried to nail him with anything, from the ridiculous to the laughable, the more the man emerged stronger like the classical stallion.
Even Peter Obi, who claimed to be the youngest and strongest candidate, could not match the feat.

Following his recent return to Nigeria from France and United Kingdom where he had gone to rest after an hectic but successful electioneering season, Abuja immediately became a Mecca of sorts as his fans, supporters and party faithfuls received him with loud applause and jubilation.
The unending acceptability of Tinubu makes his enemies go green with envy. In a swift move, mischief makers largely from his political enemies and the Obidient Movement cooked up another tale from the moonlight that a PICC was inserted in his Right Arm, suggesting that the president Elect is ill and possibly receiving blood transfusion, chemotherapy and other chronic medical treatments.
This further exposes the insensitivity, naivety, and unsportsmanly attitude of the losers of the Presidential Election who are yet to come to terms with the fact that Tinubu remains the Man of the People and his acceptability is top notch.
Debunking the paper weight claims, an agile Tinubu said, ““I am happy to be back. I have rested. I am refreshed and I am ready for the task ahead. Forget about what the rumour mill may have told you. I am strong, very strong”, he quipped, with the gait of a general who is ready for the next mission.
