EndSARS: 7 Requests Lagos Police Command Gave Gov. Sanwo-Olu
The Lagos Police Command has presented to the state government seven conditions and provisions that will boost the morale of the police and enhance its operations in the state.
The governor, who had immediately swung into action already making some of the provisions, had received the conditions with a promise to urgently intervene as applicable and meet the needs of the Lagos police command.
TheConscience reports that Sanwo-Olu visited the Lagos Police Command Headquarters in Ikeja, the State capital, where he met with the officers in the Command, including CP, DIG, AIG Zone 2, All Area Commanders and all DPOs across the State on Wednesday.
The visit came days following the #EndSARS wave of nationwide protests against police brutality and extortion and widespread looting and arson in Lagos and a few other states.
Lagos Police Commissioner, CP Hakeem Odumosu, while making his remarks, requested several things from Sanwo-Olu including seven key requests for the Lagos Police command.
This was revealed by the Governor’s media aide, Jubril Gawat, via his Twitter account:
