Emirates, one of the world’s leading airlines, is set to resume services to Nigeria from 1st October 2024, bringing excitement and a renewed sense of connectivity to the country.
The airline will operate a daily service between Lagos and Dubai, providing Nigerian travelers with more options and seamless connections to over 140 destinations worldwide.
The airline will deploy its state-of-the-art Boeing 777-300ER aircraft for the Lagos-Dubai route. The outbound flight, EK783, will depart Dubai at 09:45 AM, arriving in Lagos at 03:20 PM. The return flight, EK784, will leave Lagos at 05:30 PM and reach Dubai at 05:10 AM the next day. Passengers can now book their tickets through official website or authorized travel agents.
Expressing his enthusiasm, Adnan Kazim, Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, expressed gratitude to the Nigerian government for their partnership and support in reestablishing this vital air route.
He emphasized the popularity of the Lagos-Dubai service among Nigerian customers and the airline’s commitment to reconnecting leisure and business travelers to Dubai and beyond.

With the resumption of operations in Nigeria, it now serves 19 gateways in Africa, operating an impressive 157 flights per week from Dubai. Additionally, the airline’s extensive codeshare and interline partnerships with leading African carriers like South African Airways, Airlink, Royal Air Maroc, and Tunis Air provide travelers with access to an additional 130 regional points in Africa.
Emirates’ return to Nigeria not only signifies the airline’s confidence in the country’s aviation sector but also highlights its commitment to supporting the growth of tourism, trade, and business opportunities between Nigeria and the rest of the world.
