Nigeria’s President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos state for eight years remains the brain behind the present political party that defeated the opposition party eight years ago.

However in a bid to lure him into the mud of bad politics, opposition parties have went overboard to mar the person of Bola Tinubu against ordinary Nigerians in a bid to get electoral sympathy , seeing him as a threat to the political existence years ago.

Indeed Bola Tinubu has triumphed above all, making waves in the political scene, and becoming Nigeria’s Kingmaker who ended up as the King himself. The man Bola Tinubu is indeed an enigma among global politicians.

In a turn of events yesterday during the proceedings of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal in Abuja, Nigeria Senate Majority Leader Micheal Bamidele affirm that President Tinubu has no criminal charges to answer in any of the courts in the United States.

Senator Bamidele who was called as a sole witness during the processing.

The Senate Majority Leader maintained that the $460, 000 forfeiture order against the President by an American court was in respect of a civil matter that could not take the place of criminal charges.

He said there was no conviction and sentence against Tinubu as required by law for it to be turned into criminal charges.
